Hello anime lovers, I hope you all are doing well. I am back again with another amazing anime which is Lookism and this anime series is adapted from a manhwa. I have not read the manhwa but heard many good things about it. I hope you guys will be interested to watch it after reading my review. So, let's not waste any time and move on to it.

So, the story includes the school life and the genre is action, drama, with the elements of supernatural and slice of life. People facing insecurities will find themselves begin connected. The trailer has shown only a drop of the show but when you will watch the whole show you will realise many things. Because this anime has perfectly captured the big problems of our society.

The story begins with a guy named Park Hyung Suk. He has lived his 17 years being treated like prey. He is short, overweight, and people find him unattractive because he doesn't meet society's beauty standards. He is constantly bullied by his classmates and looked down upon for his looks. He is tired of all of this and wants to escape from his biggest bully.

So, he decides to transfer to another high school. One day before transferring to the new high school, Hyung Suk wakes up and finds that he is not in his chubby body, but instead in a dream body that everyone desires. His new body is tall and handsome. He then discovers that he can only enter his new body when his original body is asleep. His new life journey begins as he enters the new body. He was bullied because of his looks but now in his new body everyone is appreciating him. Girls are drooling over him and barely taking their eyes off him. This situations are new to our protagonist so he was really shocked at first.

To be honest the animation is so fascinating and the storyline is so perfect! Moreover, every character is so cool and has different personality. Well, I have seen many other series but this is really good series after a long time and I am really feeling the joy after watching it. If you ask me about my favourite characters then it's going both of them are my favourite character of the series.

Also, the character of Ha-neul she is truly a wife material. My friends are a big fan of her character. I literally could relate myself so much to this series and I am eagerly waiting for season 2. I know that you might think it’s just a typical high school drama anime, but it’s much more than that. I never thought that this series would be this much incredible. I feel if you are feeling down this anime might help you. It has unique plot so you won't be bored, I got hooked by it so I can already tell. I would definitely recommend this anime to others to watch.
