That filler arc in the end was really dramatic, I thought I just forgot that part because it's been years since I read its manga, but turns out it's an arc just to make the season end dramatically... and yes, those were really odd like at first, I thought Yukio's the normal one (the bland one lol), but yeah—it turns out he also has odd tendencies which added charm to his character. The adaptation of its first season is far from boring, and I hope it will remain like that in its later sequels.
