Was this movie made by the same artists as Studio Ghibli? I didn't find it in the references of things created by them.

No, it's not a Ghibli movie, but I think I read that some animators and staff who worked on it worked previously on Ghibli movies, so I guess that explains why its visuals kinda look the same, but nevertheless it's still as good as one.
